"I was lucky to have Barb for my first oil painting teacher. I appreciated her relaxed teaching style and the humor in her lessons. You need to not take everything so seriously- especially when first learning to paint. Years later, I’ve participated in Open Studios - not just as a visitor!! I credit Barb with my fearless use of color and my loose painting style."
